Microsoft has announced today that sales of the Xbox 360 have exceeded the 10 million unit mark in the U.S., with over 19 million sold globally. Microsoft are also very excited about the Xbox 360 being the first current-generation console in the U.S. to break the 10 million unit mark.
"History has shown us that the first company to reach 10 million in console sales wins the generation battle," said Microsoft’s Don Mattrick. "We are uniquely positioned to set a new benchmark for the industry."
Microsoft’s back-patting "We own, check out our junk!" press release can be found after the jump.
