The time for Grand Theft Auto is coming very very soon, with the majority of major gaming sites receiving previews of the game …except us (Don’t worry Rockstar, I am sure our copy has to be in the mail…. right). GTA4.net has done all the dirty work of scouring these many previews (1UP, […]

Some of my fondest gaming memories have come from Total Carnage, Robotron: 2084, and other similar multidirectional shooters. As a result, I’ve got fairly high hopes for the upcoming downloadable game, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil (800 Microsoft Points), which is headed to Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network next Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
Like any […]

Better late than whatever.
Many weeks back, I recorded a Rev Rant wherein I touted The Club demo as a badass mix of old-school and new; the demo took the third-person shooter aspects of modern games and combined it with a hardcore, arcade-style combo system which kept the player in a constant rush to kill more […]

Rumortoid: Sony’s holding back on white PS3s until sometime in March?

Nintendo may have started the craze with the N64, but fans of all consoles these days seem to get excited over the idea of owning a multi-colored variety of them — even if they are the same in every other respect. Mysterious to me too, but that’s consumer behavior for you.
Anyway, Kotaku is reporting rumors […]

According to the latest issue of Famitsu, the game known in Japanese arcades as Initial-D Arcade Stage 4 will soon be making its way to PS3 in the form of Initial-D: Extreme Stage. Tearing through mountain roads with J-pop blasting in the background on PS3? Yes, please.

The Smash DOJO!! spoilers recap: My Master hand is tired …

The DOJO week started off with the return of Master and Crazy Hand. They will be the final bosses of Classic mode and look to be more annoying than ever. I’ve always thought they never really fit into the whole Smash story. On Tuesday, Pikachu’s and Samus’s Special moves were shown off. Wednesday brought light […]

If there’s one thing that gaming journalists and bloggers bet their reputation on, it’s the familiar acronym for non-disclosure agreements, otherwise known as the dreaded NDA. However, the Internet is serious business, and some people view such legalese about as threatening as the removal of mattress tags — illegal and punishable by law, but best […]
