Assassin’s Creed: Limited Edition version to be announced today

Something tells me I should have used the Captain Obvious graphic for this, but whatevs. Surprising no one, IGN reports that Ubisoft plans to announce a "limited edition" version of Assassin's Creed today, to be available later in the year.
What does an extra $10 get you? A specialized tin case, an Altair (you know, the guy in the hood?) figurine, a mini strategy guide, some Penny Arcade comics, and a collection of short films; probably the ones we've been telling you about. There's also talk of behind-the-scenes videos, interviews with the producers, official trailers, and some other cool stuff as well. 
Not too shabby for a measly ten bucks you'd probably have spent on yarn to make Space Invaders socks anyway. Oh, I know all about your little knitting habit. You're not fooling anyone. Pics and info on the Assassin's Creed goodness when they become available.  […]
