While Treyarch will be working on creating the best World War II gaming experience ever for next-gen consoles, PC, and Wii this fall, Glu Mobile has announced that they’ll be bringing Call of Duty: World at War to mobile phones. Worried that it’ll just be a quick cash in mobile port? This portion of the press release should ease your mind:
The critically-acclaimed, blockbuster Call of Duty series is known for its cinematic intensity and epic battlefield moments. The Glu mobile version of Call of Duty: World at War, which Glu will develop and publish, will be scheduled for deployment to consumers on major wireless carriers around the world.
So what they’re trying to say is Call of Duty is good, and they’re bringing it to mobile phones because they can. That doesn’t ease my mind at all. Doesn’t anyone have anything good to say about the game itself?
