A very small portion of the internet recently bubbled at the thought of Capcom's demented and abstract piece of videogame surrealism, Killer 7, being remade for the Nintendo Wii. A Wii version of Suda 51's schizophrenic poster paint nightmare would have made for perhaps a more useful move than Capcom's decision to resurrect Resident Evil 4, but interested fans were left disappointed this afternoon when it all turned out to be in err.
The misunderstanding occurred when Capcom's official Web site showed a Wii symbol next to a listing for Killer 7 which, naturally, got people talking. This was, however, a mere mistake, the result of icon size testing, which Capcom has apologized for. They have confirmed that indeed no new release of the Grasshopper Manufacture collaboration will be visiting the Wii in the near future, although didn't completely shoot down the idea.
