Ah, Prey. I remember hyping myself up for it, big time. After everything was said and done, I still enjoyed what the game had presented me with, despite its shortcomings. Sure, the little afterlife mini-game was cool at first, but it made Prey far too forgiving in the long run.
We’ve known a sequel to Prey was likely going to reveal itself at some point, and it looks as though that time has come. Shacknews has gotten a hold of a few tidbits about Prey 2, including the terribly small concept art below and a brief description of the game’s plot:
"This time, abandoned and framed for the disappearance of his family, Tommy escapes an Earth that no longer wants him for a future that cannot survive without him."
I can only hope that the memorable aspects of Prey (walkable walls, gaping wall vaginas) make an appearance in the sequel, while the minor […]
