If there is one thing that is going to make the Wii the console to beat this generation, it's going to be how much high quality original content developers are able to throw at it. Not to be confused with endless ports or mini-games that let you waggle the Wiimote around; I'm referring to honest-to-goodness single-player goodies.
After viewing the above trailer for Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire, such a game appears to be coming Nintendo's way. Looking a bit like Rygar mixed with God of War and The Legend of Zelda, Dragon Blade tells the story of a young adventurer who seeks six legendary pieces of the "Dragon Blade," each infused with the soul of a different guardian dragon. Vanquishing evil requires an epic quest in which to seal away six dragons — all the while absorbing their abilities ands souls in the process.
