Dynasty Warriors Gundam combat: It’s just some robots fighting

The Dynasty Warriors Gundam demo still hasn’t hit Xbox Live in Europe, so in the meantime I’m stuck watching videos like this, dreaming of the robot-on-robot carnage that may one day be mine. I have also come to the conclusion that this is entirely Namco Bandai’s fault, not my beloved KOEI’s and that Namco Bandai is in fact chock-full of incompetent boobs. 
While we’re here, I may as well inform the people that I tried watching an episode of Gundam Wing so that I wouldn’t be going into the wretched plain of licensed videogames unarmed with background knowledge. Instead of gawping at huge robotic suits wailing on each other for my amusement, I felt like I was watching Dawson’s Creek, the amount of teenage angst that was in it. I really hope the game doesn’t capture that part of it, because I don’t much fancy pressing Y to charge my Emo-Meter. […]
