Yes it has been eight years. That makes me feel pretty old. I played through EQ about 5 years ago, and even then I felt way behind the curve. If for some strange reason you really want to play an MMO, but don’t want to venture into the new territory, you can buy all 8 years of EQ (expansions and all) for just 19.99 in a box set at participating retailers. Now how is that for a sweet deal?
