Well this sure was unexpected. One of the games industry’s biggest publishers, Ubisoft, announced on Sunday that a handful of their extremely popular PC titles would be available for players free of charge.
Far Cry, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Rayman Raving Rabbids, and Ghost Recon are all available free of charge as of right now.
The games, which are now supported entirely by ads, do require the user to have a valid Ubi.com account (which is free), so if you want them, head over to Ubi.com and sign up now. While users do have to sit through some ads before the initial set up, it seems to me that there are no ads inside the games, which is always a good thing.
