Excited for picking up your copy of Halo 3 at launch? Spent the extra money for the collector’s tin, ’cause you wanted the hard copy of the artbook? Well, the folks at NeoGAF have some bad news for you: by the time you get it open, the discs look like they’ll already be scratched. Perhaps you won’t even need your 360 to put a giant dent in the disc for you.
A lot of people are experiencing problems with the way the Halo 3 discs are held in the case of the collector’s edition. As you can see, the disc is held in by nothing more than a tiny piece of plastic and some foam pads. If you watch Gamevideo’s unboxing video, they have similar problems.
