As Hamza just noted, Haze hits this week and the developers have been busy answering questions on the Ubi form. To our surprise the May 16 update reveals two ugly technical facts about the game: a rather large required install and no true 720p.
Time to delete your porn, kids! When developers were asked if we’d see a forced install (see previous Capcom debacle) they simply responded no, just a "minimal 4GB install". We’d like to offer that 1/10th of some people’s hard drives barely qualifies as minimal and are hoping that we won’t have to sit through a 20 minute install a-la Devil May Cry (5GB install) on first play. Since the trend doesn’t seem to be wavering, we dare ask the question again: Are forced installs on consoles here to stay?
