When I first saw that EA had canceled a Marvel themed fighting game I thought, “Who cares?” After all, Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects was a truly lackluster game that felt extremely gimmicky as it was the debut of one of EA’s stupid original characters that didn’t belong in the game. However, one screen shot was all it took to send me into mourning for this dead game:
The cel shading really works here. The Thor featured here is the classic Thor, not the retarded Ultimate Thor who looks like he belongs in a crappy Nickleback cover band. The other character featured is U.S.A. Agent who I love because he’s the shitty version of Captain America. Finally, there’s the classic Jack Kirby inspired art.
