Since late 2006, PC fans have been enjoying the triumphant return of world-famous anthropomorphic detective duo, Sam and Max. Its point-and-click style has been a hit with gamers since the 1993 release of Sam & Max Hit the Road, but the team has never made its way to consoles.
With the Wii’s mouse-like pointer controls, fans have thought it would be the perfect match, and rumors of a pairing have long haunted the hallowed halls of the Internet. The game’s retail publisher, JoWood, seems to have confirmed Sam & Max on the Wii in a German press release for one of their Agatha Christie titles:
