Evil gaming blog Kotaku recently wrote up a piece about how Left 4 Day plays online, from someone lucky enough to have some hands on time with it. Reading it was like poetry. No, it wasn’t the words, it was the amazing content that was explained in great detail. Take this passage for example, “Luckily, I exploded vomit when I died, coating my intended target with a green goo that 1) obscures that player’s vision and 2) brought down the wrath of like 20 NPC Infected that wiped out half the Survivor team.”
Holy crap, that’s like the coolest thing ever and I’m not even that interested in playing on the “infected” side of things. I just really, really dig how challenging the game will be and how much cooperation will be needed between the survivors in order to, well, survive.
I imagine this game will be the best thing ever […]
