I hope you enjoyed the Dtoid Wii tribute. It's April Fools weekend; let's have some fun! Starting with something very silly that I've been keeping from most of you. I've been working on a video game for a bit. Well, mostly drawing stuff for a video game I hope to one day make is probably a more accurate description.
Before I started Destructoid I was working on an ambitious 2D game called Pinkslip with a few friends and co-workers. We called ourselves Groupie Games (as in we're not quite Rockstar but would like to get in their pants) and worked on the engine 2-3 times a week after our day jobs until the Red Bull went dry or the girlfriends complained — whichever came first. So what became of it? People moved away, lost interest, started families, and otherwise moved on to other projects. People suck!
