Just when we thought we had seen it all, eagle-eyed Dtoider Guitaratomik has unearthed what will surely take home 2008s "Most Unnecessary in Gaming" award — the "Rock Band Stage Kit."
The listing found on GameStop.com has since been stripped of its image (and contains no real information), but Guitaratomik was fast like a puma, and was able to snag the above screencap. Good thing, too, because there’s no way anyone would have believed that the "stage kit" was actually an "Interactive Light and Stage Show."
Provided it meets the stricts criteria of local fire and safety codes, Performance Design Products’ "rock concert in a box" should be available this July for the low cost of $99.99. Hey, you can’t put a price on living the rock n’ roll lifestyle, man.
