Now, I know that your typical Destructoid reader isn’t as up on the world of anime as the kids next door, but I’m sure you’ll appreciate the videogame ties in these insane videos. Either that, or you’ll want to kill yourself.
The Japanese side of the internet has no shortage of video tributes to the slice-of-life anime and manga series Lucky Star. Usually they’re the same old song and dance (literally). But now it seems that the cast has added a few videogame tunes to their musical repertoire. This seems especially appropriate as the show’s story centers around a character named Kontata Izumi, who is obsessed with videogames and anime.
These ladies are no Hyadain, but they do admirable arrangements of songs from Hoshi no Kirby Super Deluxe (that’s Kirby Super Star to you) and Super Mario World, especially for animated characters. I guess they’re Nintendo fan girls? […]
