I’m going to level with you — I have no idea what the hell is going on in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots: Tactical Espionage Action (its full, official title). Having not delved too deeply into most of the games in the series, I’m quickly discovering that there’s far more plot there than I can fit in my tiny human brain.
Starting tomorrow, Konami is offering up some help in the form of the "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Database," which will be available for download on the PlayStation Store. The interactive app will contain "the official knowledge base" of everything Metal Gear, spanning back to the beginning of the franchise. Story lines, character profiles, diagrams detailing relationships … my brain is hurting just thinking about.
