We had a giggle over the Vii last year, but like any massively popular icon of pop culture, the ripoffs are far from over. We spied this recent imitator over at Engadget, with comes with a slew of vaguely identifiable acessories including paddles, something that might be a bat and a tiny blue spaceship. I’m kidding, I have no idea what that little blue thing is. A heart rate monitor?
The rig costs roughly $205 and comes with a gift box in case you want to make someone hate you for life. How thoughtful! It was made by China Shenzhen Firstsing Company Limited, who hilariously enough made a cooling fan for the actual Wii, but apparently didn’t make the profit they hoped for, so they decided to rip off the whole system. Nice going. I wish I knew someone in China who could tell me if this crud actually sells.
[Thanks Justin]
