Hear that rumbling in the distance? That’s the sound of a tsunami, brought on by the overactive salivary glands of a few thousand RPG lovers who’ve just heard the news about Cross Edge, a new PS3 game in development by Compile Heart.
Namco Bandai has joined forces with Capcom, Nippon Ichi, Gust and Idea Factory, to tell the story of a world whose only means of survival is to consume and destroy the souls of other worlds. Not much else is known about the game at this point, except that it will feature characters from Disgaea, Darkstalkers, Air Tonelico and Atelier Marie, likely among many others to be revealed in the coming months.
We do know that the game’s battles revolve around an action points system that limit a character’s involvement in each fight, so it doesn’t sound like there’s anything wildly different on that front, but we’ll see about that […]
