This last weekend I finally broke down and purchased the XBox Live game Pinball FX. The combination of not enough sleep and the love of pinball caused me to purchase the downloadable title. I also picked up the Rocky and Bullwinkle and Street Fighter II Turbo tables at the same time.
I have to say that the game is pretty damned good. The first three tables are decent (though not super exciting) with the auto racing table being the clear winner, but the real standout is the extra pirate themed table. Both Street Fighter and Rocky and Bullwinkle are fun boards if you like pinball games. The biggest problem I’ve found is that Street Fighter seems to be a game that’s more skill based and as much as I love pinball, I really am not that great at it.
