Independent Polish studio NoWay Studio has announced its debut title, a first-person shooter, C.O.R.E. for the Nintendo DS.
The press release (which is written in horribly hilarious English) details the story of a US Marine who is investigating a laboratory built to research the effects of a crashed meteor. This, of course, quickly goes to s**t when the marine discovers horrible atrocities and is subsequently attacked by dudes with machine guns. Oh, the life of marines in videogames.
NoWay's Lukasz Zarnowiecki is confident that they're taking the classic FPS genre to the next level with C.O.R.E..
"Thanks to [the unique features of the Nintendo DS]," he says, "we came up with an unprecedented gaming experience packed with a multitude of weapons, eerie enemies and primarily ground breaking gameplay and original story line."
