Here's the scenario: an undead private detective, ressurected in a bizarre scientific experiment, uses the severed heads of his enemies to take out paddle wielding tiki-monsters. Hey, it doesn't take much to grab my interest, I guess.
Vicious Cycle Software's PSP title, Dead Head Fred (with its 1940s inspired universe) brings to mind Wideload Games' often overlooked Stubbs The Zombie. One might also remember the Genesis cranium slinging classic, Decap Attack. So while the undead and tossing heads isn't new to video games, it's quite a bold and innovative move bringing them both together.
The game's main character, Fred Neuman, will be voiced by actor John C. McGinley, who I've never heard of, despite the fact that this press release I have here claims he's won a few awards.
