Everyone but me was making out and eating cookies.” I wasn’t making out or eating cookies much myself, though I did play spin the bottle earlier that year at my friend Rob’s party, and kissed Julia Mildenhall once on the mouth; no tongue.
But I wasn’t feeling terribly low, either: I’d just bought my SNES and was playing my way through Zelda, Donkey Kong Country and Secret of Mana.
