Tetsuya Mizuguchi fans, your week has come: Rez HD (800 Microsoft Points) is finally upon us. It seems like it’s been an eternity since the game was announced for Live Arcade, but our patience ultimately paid off, and we’ll be putting the vibrating functionality to good use come Wednesday. Additionally, Ubisoft’s Chestmaster Live (800 Microsoft Points) will also see release this week.
If you haven’t already played Rez on the Dreamcast (or PlayStation 2), then you should be pleasantly surprised. You can expect to find an on-rails shooter that incorporates cool music, stylish visuals, and heavy controller vibration to create an unforgettable experience. As the title suggests, Rez HD will be in high-definition, as well as 5.1 surround sound.
