The rumors we've been hearing for months are true: a remake of the Starbreeze modern classic, Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay will officially be making its way to the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 later this year. And thank God, because it still stands as one of the best games on Microsoft's first shot at a home console … and it's still not backwards compatible!
The remake, entitled Chronicles of Riddick: Assault On Dark Athena, will not be a simple remake. No, no, no! How does an extended (40% more!) single-player mode sound? And hey, whiners — they're adding a multi-player mode, too.
But the rumors don't stop, as word on the street is that tonight's episode of Spike TV's Game Head will feature the world premiere of this exciting remake. If that's the case, we'll be replacing the above footage of a young Vin Diesel breakdancing […]
