Harmonix, developer of the new Guitar Hero style music game, Rock Band, have announced today their plans to bring downloadable content for their new game at weekly intervals.
The downloadable content, which is supposedly entire albums worth of music, will be available for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. Harmonix plans to have the very first downloadable album, The Who’s album Who’s Next, available the week after the game launches, and promises content to be available each week after launch.
How much users will have to pay to download new albums was not revealed.
