Silent Hill Origins was a surprise for me. After seeing it at multiple conferences, I wasn’t excited despite the huge Silent Hill fan that I am. My biggest concern was that the formula of the series would be used but the writing that has made the games so memorable would be absent. I came into the game with low expectations, so I was plesantly surprised to find myself playing a fairly actualized game that was pretty enjoyable.
I’m telling you all this because if you don’t own a PSP and never got a chance to play it, there’s a possibility that may soon change. Both Gamefly and Amazon have a page up for Silent Hill Origins for PS2, each having a different March release date. Konami has made no formal announcement, and that box would be a snap to Photoshop, so we can’t really make any solid assumptions on the topic […]
