Emphasis on the Rumortoid. A supposedly leaked scan from this week’s issue of Famitsu shows what looks to be information on an "enhanced" version of Square’s infamous classic, saying that it’s headed for the DS. While there are plenty of you out there who may already NOT have Chrono Trigger on your NOT DS, the prospect of something like this is still pretty exciting, huh?
A translation of the scan roughly reads as "Square’s classic fantasy RPG comes to the Nintendo DS, winter 2008." It then goes on to say that a price point has yet to be decied and all that sort of super-interesting nonsense. So is it real? Faked? And just how enhanced is "enhanced?"
