While nothing has been confirmed yet, there’s a chance that the next Call of Duty title will be heading back to World War II, because apparently gamers can’t get enough of that war in particular.
As discovered by GAMER, the job listings on Treyarch’s Web site reveal that the developer is looking for a level builder. What’s interesting is one of the qualifications for the opening:
"Working experience with First-Person Shooter or Third-Person Shooter genres (console or PC). And if you’re a fan of World War 2 shooters, then even better!"
Unless Treyarch decides to alter the events of WWII by creating a game featuring bear cavalry and an undead legion of Nazi warriors, you can count me out. I’ve grown weary of historically accurate war games that bring nothing new to the table in terms of actual gameplay conventions.
