We’re proud to announce the winners of Destructoid’s first annual TGS Engrish Awards. Judged by a panel of barely qualified cynical Dtoid panelists, the prestigious award is presented each year to the video game company who does the best job of bastardizing the English language. The grand prize goes to SNK-Playmore who’s smash title KOF2: REGURATION A made us sheepishly giddy as we piled on top of each other with mocking fingers at the spokesperson, a feat of journalistic maturity few companies are qualified to issue. In addition to this amusing stereotype made real, we also snapped a few hilarious ones in and around the show. My personal favorite is an orange shirt worn by a Capcom press person. It almost reads like a haiku:
