In its year-long quest to figure out the greatest animal in videogames, MTV Multiplayer is now taking votes from readers to determine the “Greatest Aquatic Animal in Videogame History.”
Now, I know a lot of you right now are wondering how this is news. Well, it really isn’t, but did you actually expect me not to post this? Seriously? There are multiple dolphins on the list (*fap*?). For me, this news is more groundbreaking than if Square-Enix was to officially announce a PlayStation 3 remake of Final Fantasy VII. Cloud, who? It’s all about Ecco, dammit!
I have to admit, I am pretty impressed with the huge list of nominees Multiplayer came up with. From the seventh colossus in Shadow of the Colossus to Jabu-Jabu in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, pretty much every aquatic creature is covered.
