As new videos, images, and tidbits of information about Starbreeze’s The Darkness have been popping up lately, I’ve become more and more obsessed with the game. Yes, it is another first-person shooter. But, The Darkness isn't an average, ordinary FPS. Here’s why:
•If the opening sequence for the game is any indication as to how the storyline will be, The Darkness should prove to be very entertaining during actual gameplay and throughout cut-scenes.
•Mike Patton provides the voice for the darkness. ‘Nuff said.
•You have a variety of powers at your disposal, including: summoning Darklings, creating black holes, and (insert hentai joke here) demon tentacles.
•Last, but certainly not least, the game’s incredible graphics. The atmosphere and gore really make The Darkness an immersive and gruesome experience.
The Darkness is slated for a June 25 release date for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. So start saving those pennies! If […]
